Carter Lake Engagement Shoot

Carter Lake has a special place in this couple's heart. They spent much of their courtship hanging out on the lakeshore, so of course, it was serendipitous that we ended up shooting their engagement session here! Originally aiming for Devil's Backbone, we ended up driving up the road and finding this great spot! We popped some bubbly, and listened to some reggae jams while our couple swayed to the steel drums and dreamt about their exciting future with one another. It was such a fun day! While the short walk from the Sundance Trailhead parking lot is a bit uneven, we we're able to mountain goat it (not really, but strong ankles are helpful on rocky rocks).
